Exergame Fitness USA The Global Leader in Exergaming Products, Programming and Partnerships implemented the popular “Gamercize NBA2K11 Exergaming Station” at the McPherson Elementary School. Gamercize is one of the leading products in the Exergaming market which offers a positive solution to the raging epidemic of obesity and inactivity.
Gamercize keeps kids moving while playing games they already love such as Madden Football, FIFA Soccer, NBA2K11 & Star Wars Lego’s to name a few. The Gamercize technology interacts with existing game console’s such as XBOX 360, PS3, Wii by making the players actively move on custom designed steppers in order to power their controller! Simply put, when no physical activity is present, the game pauses. When active movement is present the users unlock the gameplay! Its an affordable and proven method to keeping the youth of today fit while having fun.
Parker Johnson – Project Manager at Exergame Fitness adds:
“The Gamercize system was a massive success at McPherson school! It was great to see some of the world’s top NBA players so involved in community wellness. Throughout the duration of the event, kids were lined up to play the Gamercize station and fully engaged into the competitive gameplay and active movement that is required to play the system. When NBA superstars Scottie Pippen & Taj Gibson walked in the room the kids kept on playing their game! This just goes to shows how engaging exercise can be when combined with videogames. Everything we do here at Exergame Fitness is about utilizing technology driven products that keep them fully engaged & physically active! It’s making a huge difference!”
