The Cherry Creek School District is one of the highest-achieving school districts in the state of Colorado. Located in the southeast Denver metropolitan area where the “fruited plains” meet the “purple mountain majesties.” Educating more than 54,000 children and serving over 300,000 residents in 108 square miles that spread across eight municipalities: Cherry Hills Village, Centennial, Foxfield, Glendale, Greenwood Village and portions of Aurora, Englewood and Denver. Cherry Creek also take a very unique approach to integrating technology throughout the school, and the classrooms.
Cherry Creek Schools are changing the teaching and learning environment for teachers and students by applying effective instructional practices, technology uses and technological infrastructure. Through their professional development program, teachers are taught to become developers of technology integrated curriculum and students are expected to become critical thinkers, problem solvers, and lifelong learners.
One of the ways the like to incorporate technology in the classroom is through active play with the Exergame EyePlay Projection System. This projection system can turn any area into a virtual indoor playground that allows multiple students to interact with colorful graphics and sounds projected onto the floor. With a wide range of games, kids and adults can be entertained for hours while running and jumping around. Not only does it provide an interactive experience for the children, but academic components can also be added as well!
“I purchased the Eye Play last Spring/ Summer and my kids absolutely love it! One of the best purchases ever!”
