Move+ will be launched at this year’s 2012 AAHPERD (American Alliance forHealth Physical Education, Recreation, and Dance) Conference in Boston.  This event also coincides with the SecondAnnual “Lets Move in Schools” Campaign. This nationwide movement focuses on the inclusion of more physicalactivity not only in physical education, but throughout the school day and athome.  This year’s theme looks at thebenefits of dance into physical education, a perfect precursor to what theMove+ has to offer.
“AAHPERD is the ideal place to release a new product, since it targets qualityPhysical Education in our schools. School age children today need to have a vast array of options when itcomes to physical activity.  Really theway we look at it is the more options, means the more opportunities kids haveto find an outlet for physical movement and exercise.  We have long been known as the leaders ofincorporating technology into physical education, the Move+ is another step inthe right direction,” Ed Kasanders President of Motion Fitness says.

The MOVE+ system consists of PC & proprietary Software thathooks into any tv or projector, which allows for large group atmospheres to allplay together.
The Floor mats give a guide for users to follow along on fundamental steppatterns.  Like any other teaching toolthe Move+ shows the basic concepts of dance and step routines.  This allows for children unfamiliar with thedance concept to be able to learn and test their abilities in a positiveenvironment.

“Move+ provides fun and engaging games with a low entry cost.  It is scalableto almost any size group. We developed three categories/elements to the game: Dance,Fitness, and Brain Patterns.  Theseelements include basic dance and step chart patterns from industry leaderiDANCE. We have fitness exercise patterns to develop cardio, coordination, and balance, and patterns to get the brain ready for learning from renowned Jean Blades ofAction Based Learning,” Ed says.
