St. Monica’s Recreation Center, “a ministry for God’s children”, gladly serves the youth of Lincoln Heights. This 11,000 –sf gymnasium addition for St. Monica Recreation center serves kids from the surrounding neighborhoods ranging from ages 6-18 years old.
St. Monica’s serves the neighborhood of Lincoln Heights, about two miles from the Community of the Transfiguration Motherhouse in Glendale, Ohio. St. Monica’s provides safety, enjoyment, and supervision for neighborhood children after school and during the summer. This is a free center serving the needs of the underprivileged children in Lincoln Heights.
This new addition includes new locker rooms, concessions, and performance stage to provide multiple spaces for activities. The gym is attached to their indoor playground facility due to the fact that was constructed on a tight, urban site. As part of this new addition is the tWall Interactive Fitness Game.
The tWall is the Ultimate Interactive Fitness Product. This universal training tool provides a fantastic cardio workout across numerous applications, including Exergaming, sports, fitness and rehabilitation.
At Exergame using similar concepts of gamification found in video games, kids won’t even realize they are working out. This is a core message to keep the nations youth more active, having fun, and competing with friends through virtual play.
