Inspiring future leaders and empowering each student with the 21st century skills and knowledge necessary for success drive “Team 259” toward greatness every day. Wichita Public Schools provides unparalleled opportunities for students – in the classroom; by participation in service and extra-curricular activities; because of extraordinary and safe school facilities; regardless of ability, language needs, background.
The Wichita Public Schools provides a continuum of special education services for students aged 3 to 21. By implementing a Multi-Tier System of Support (MTSS), teachers and support staff will ensure that students receive educational benefit in the least restrictive environment, providing a coordinated system of Special Education and related services for students with disabilities designed to meet the unique student’s needs and increase opportunities for student achievement and post-secondary success.
Recently as part of their program to help students “refocus” in the classroom, they implemented the tWall. With the tWall students on the autism spectrum, those with ADD, ADHD, and Behavior issues can use it to refocus. Students with other sensory needs, cognitive tasks, or downs syndrome find a fun interactive game that keeps them active.
See another one of our success stories at Meriden School Public Schools and how they use their Lightwall with a variety of other equipment.
With the tWall you can also rain for power, agility, endurance, & more. As the most robust model, the TWall 64 is the largest TWall model with the most training surface available.
