On April 2nd, 2014 the Harry Caray’srestaurant franchise opened a 22,000 square-foot complex on the seventh floor of the Water Tower Place in downtown Chicago. The complex includes Harry Caray’s 7th Inning Stretch restaurant and 8,000 square-foot Chicago Sports Museum, a memorabilia mecca for tourists and fans of Chicago sports.
“We’re excited to bring this new breed of dining, entertainment and retail to Chicago,” says Grant DePorter, HCRG CEO. “You wont have to be a sports enthusiast to enjoy yourself, but for superfans like me, it will be nirvana.”
We are proud to have partnered with Harry Caray’s to help create one of the interactive exhibits inside the museum. OurTouch Wall (tWall) is located in the “Measure Up” zone where anyone can test their reaction time compared to the lightning speed of Hawks goalie, Tony Esposito. The twall includes four quick play modes for adults and children along with a scoreboard that displays a timer and the amount of hits. So the question is…how quick are you? If you get a chance to visit the museum, share your experience and score with us!
General admission for the Chicago Sport Museum is $6 and$3 for seniors while kids under 3 get in free. Dining at the Harry Caray’s 7th Inning Stretch gives you complimentary admission. Minimum purchase applies.
