Back in March of 2020 (we all remember that right?!) Exergame installed the first full interactive fitness room at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows. The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is all about creating a safe environment where every child feels safe and connected: a place to belong and a place to become. This is that place for over 13,000 youth in 30+ locations across Reno, Sparks, Fernley, Ely, and Winnemucca.
While the timing of the installation was tough, as they were not able to open the room right away. Exergame became one of the MAIN attractions in rebuilding their membership at the club. This was a place where they could market themselves as taking a health fitness based approach to their programming, giving the kids something new to experience, and using the room as a selling feature for NEW memberships.
We were able to sit down with Mike Wurm to discuss how Exergame has helped increase membership in the post pandemic world.
