Mad Fitness is committed to meeting the fitness needs of the athlete and non athlete through a variety of group training classes grounded in the core values of; Movement science, functional fitness, fundamentals of strength training, proper cardiovascular training and performance training.
In this facility is a 11,000-square-foot fitness and athletic training facility for all ages, but the focus is heavily on youth. Here they have elementary school programs, middle school programs, and high school performance programs. All of their programs are based on large-group training. So there can be 25 kids in a class, and the class can be scaled appropriately for any level of fitness within that age group.
One of the the key pieces Mad Fitness was looking to work with the ultimate interactive fitness product, our tWall. Whether training for power, agility, endurance, flexibility, or reaction, tWALL tests your personal limits resulting in the ultimate fitness gaming platform for any challenge. This universal training tool provides a fantastic cardio workout across numerous applications, including Exergaming, sports, fitness and rehabilitation.
Here is a quote from Co-owner Amy DiPasquale “We have a tWall that lights up and does all these things where it engages our youth visually, but we’re building programs around it so that they’re moving and they’re running back and forth and touching lights and [using] vision and lateral moves and all sorts of fun, functional fitness.”
Exergame Fitness applauds Mad Fitness and their goal to continue to fight childhood obesity. With schools starting to cut so many extracurricular activities and some schools cutting physical education programs entirely, facilities like Mad Fitness are needed now more than ever!
