We can’t help but be ecstatic about sharing news about the exergaming world sometimes, and this is one of those times. Recently a marketing company was hired by Reebok to promote a new storefront in a sort of “Michigan Avenue” style area, lots of brand name shops. Check out the photo gallery of the store here – there is a preview of the gallery right below for you to check out as well.
As you can see from some of the photos, the T-Wall maximizes space efficiency in any situation – even in a clothing store. The reason for getting the T-Wall for the opening of the store was to use the lights, sounds, and excitement to draw potential customers in and keep them in the store engaged. They were able to gather crowds of people around just the T-Wall showing some of the fun exercises and interactive games on it. This being in South Korea, this is new for some – still a new market for exergaming products.
A huge part of the event, however, was their ability to have an official UFC athlete help promote the event and play some games on the T-Wall unit. The Welterweight fighter Dong Hyun “Stun Gun” Kim was the first Korean national to win an official UFC fight. He has had quite a successful and powerful career as an MMA fighter so to have him promote one of our products in any way is huge.
This is another great location/event to show how engaging and fun our interactive fitness equipment can be and to see how perfect it can be for any sort of marketing event or just event in general. Last week we took a look at Exxon Mobil renting a T-Wall for the 2nd year in a row, combined with a retail Reebok store – we can really see exergaming becoming a truly worldwide trend. Check out more marketing events our interactive fitness equipment has been featured at here.
