The Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows is all about creating a place where every child has the confidence and stays connected to: a place to belong and a place to become better. This Boys & Girls Club organization is a place for over 13,000 youth in 30+ locations across Reno, Sparks, Fernley, Ely, and Winnemucca reside. They are a place for children of all ages to go before and after school, during school breaks, and the summer to grow not only in, but outside the classroom as well. They help kids, teens, and tweens achieve great futures by providing a safe and fun space, an engaging Club experience, and caring professionals to guide them along the way.
Exergame has had the WONDERFUL opportunity to work with so many corganizations across the country, but the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows has taken a full Exergame room approach at some of their clubs. We wanted to highlight some of the key points over the next few months to help better understand how Exergaming has impacted things like returning membership (post COVID), bringing in new members, how Exergame meets the mission of the Boys & Girls Clubs, how funding and ROI looks, and how interactive fitness has become a destination site for bringing new faces in!
