YMCA Buffalo Niagara is a charitable, community based organization committed to providing programs designed to build a healthy spirit, mind, and body for all. As part of their focus in youth development they believe in providing a healthy living lifestyle for their teens. Recently at the Delaware Family YMCA branch in New York, they added some interactive fitness and exergame components to help combat youth inactivity.
At their new youth fitness center they have integrated components of our Youth X Room. The Youth X Room engages kids and teens through their virtual world to get them moving. Using similar concepts of gamification found in video games, kids won’t even realize they are working out. Some of the products included in this room include the tWall 32, 3 Kick, Heavyball, and iStep DDR Dance System.
Do you want to help people enhance their fitness regimen? If you have kids at your fitness facility, then the tWall 32 will help to push each of them to their limits and help them reach new heights in fitness. The tWall 32 is a great machine to help people who want to get into shape focus on different areas of their body with functional training movements.
Punch and Kick For A Seriously Fun Workout! Just kick & punch where the light goes. 3 Kick is designed with foam pads that can be punched, kicked, slapped, or tapped. The 3 Kick combined with the Heavyball creates a small group training atmosphere that incorporates interactive gaming, with high intensity interval training (HIIT). The Heavyball is a fresh alternative for full body strength & cardio workouts. Great for lateral movement & squats. How fast can you grab the ball, find the lighted tube, & drop it in?
Wanting to just play a few games for fun and get in a workout? The iStep DDR Dance machine is perfect for you. A multiplayer dance game that delivers physical, cognitive, and social benefits that parallel those of other Positive Gaming systems.
